Account Director

As an account lead, you will be responsible for leading a team and serving as the client’s day-to-day contact, providing campaign oversight, teaching, mentoring, removing hurdles and delivering results. You should have at least 10 years of agency experience, working primarily with lifestyle brands and have a track record of driving dynamic teams and delivering incredible results. We’re looking for dynamic personalities here – creative and humble, but also confident leaders with a strong sense of team. To put it simply, you’d be the first person someone would want to lead them out if they got lost in the woods. You may even be asked to start a fire with nothing more than a stick in the interview – seriously, just one stick and your mind.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities 

Be a leader.

Responsible for program oversight, course correction and execution — Bring campaigns to life while overseeing a team of talented people.

Client relations – Learn the client’s needs and sensitivities and serve as a first point-of-contact for the client within the agency. Dig deeply into the business and customer insights of our clients to be able to provide thoughtful, strategic counsel and to lead the team accordingly. 

Develop the team – Help the individuals on your team grow.
Thought leadership — Stay on top of trends and debates within our industry and share best practices and new ideas with colleagues and clients. 

Required Skills, Knowledge, Abilities and Qualifications

•    Four-year college degree 
•    7-10+ years experience in communications – preferably in an agency 
•    Experience managing teams of people 
•    Strong strategic thinking skills – examples of insight-driven strategy for clients 
•    Demonstrated results of driving large-scale consumer campaigns 
•    Excellent presentation skills — both written and verbal 
•    Active social networking — both online and off
