Hello again! My name is Nicole Braman and I am a communications major with a focus in public relations at UW, also minoring in entrepreneurship. I had the opportunity to intern at Curator last spring, and I loved it so much I just had to come back this fall!
Between the last time I was in the office and now, I spent my summer travelling through Europe. I went to London, Prague, a small German town, a bunch of cities in Italy and a few spots in Greece, and it really was the trip of a lifetime. If you’ve never been to Venice, Italy, let me tell you right now that you’re missing out. I’ve never been to a city anywhere near as unique as Venice, and I found myself stumbling upon the coolest streets and alleyways every which way I turned. The gondola rides were also just as cool as they were hyped up to be. Although its nice being back in the beautiful city of Seattle, I must admit I’ll miss the pasta, wine, art and the unbelievable views of the many places I visited.
Despite my nostalgia for my summer of European adventures, it feels great to be back in the office with my fellow Curators! As a return intern, I’m most excited to be able to work with some new and different clients so I can continue to learn all of the ins and outs of PR. With less than six months until I graduate, I’m very excited to keep growing and gaining more knowledge and experience in public relations.
