Happy Blue Friday!

The Seahawks are going to the Super Bowl, folks! The 12th man spirit is at an all-time high: "Hawkitecture" is taking over the city, from skyscraper windows to the shop down the street to the Woodland Park Zoo's Legion of Boom (er, otters).  Today, Curator is participating in Blue Friday, and we're all working diligently until the happy hour o'clock so we can begin the tailgating a little early. On Sunday, catch us on Twitter @CuratorPR where we'll be live-tweeting the game and the commercials. This week, we bring you our favorite Blue Friday-themed links. And, need a playlist to listen to while you browse? Look no further. Go Hawks!

A Tale of Two Cities, Grantland. If you want to be completely horrified of the Broncos, and also gain an appreciation for the historical context in which their matchup with the Seahawks exists, you should check out this post from Bill Barnwell over at Grantland. What it boils down to is this: Statistically, the Broncos have what is unquestionably the best offense of all time, while the Seahawks have what is unquestionably one of the top-10 defenses of all time. I will now go hyperventilate into a bag until Sunday night. -- Paul

For Super Bowl parties, take-out from Seattle-area eateries, Seattle Times. I've never been so anxious about a football game before. With still a couple days out, I'm occupying my time by building the ultimate Superbowl menu. Regardless of what happens, this will be a game Seattle will never forget so I'm making sure I take advantage with some of these Seahawk foodies! -- Brooke

Seattle Children's "Thank You" Video to Russell Wilson, KING 5. While the whole team earned a spot in Super Bowl XLVIII, I think the time is always right to reflect on how amazingly selfless and awesome Russell Wilson is, not just on the field, but off of it. This thank you video from the kids at Childrens' Hospital sums up his greatness pretty accurately (PS: You may want to have some tissues on deck). GO HAWKS!!!! -- Megan

Richard Sherman's Twitter Account, Twitter. If one more Richard Sherman story gets added to the Internet, this thing is going to explode. I should know. I've ready every single one -- from HuffPo's piece on what America can learn from all of this to GeekWire's story on how Seattle's startup scene needs more Sherman swagger (agree!). So without adding to the pile, I'll simply point you to his Twitter feed, which has grown from 286,000 before "the rant" to 735,000 and climbing. -- Ann Marie

Colin Kaepernick fires verbal bazookas at Richard Sherman, USA Today Sports. Well, I'm adding to that pile of Richard Sherman stories. But, this one was just too good not to share! It combines my extreme love for the Hawks with my extreme *dislike* for Kaepernick. It's definitely worth a read, but here's the most important section to quickly recap: "[Kaepernick] made a bad play, Sherman made a great one. He won, you lost. Period. Any other interpretation of that play comes off like sour grapes." Needless to say, I can't wait for Sunday's game! -- Annie

True Super Bowl winner: Small business GoldieBlox wins free commercial during big game, Fox Sports. We all fell in love with Goldie Blox and their "Girls" ad in late 2013. Well, the young ladies are back at it and I can't wait to see what they have in store. -- Jennifer
