Meet Kendall Langis, Our Winter Intern

Hello! My name is Kendall Langis, and I am the new winter intern here at Curator.

I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest in Renton, WA. I am currently a senior at Washington State University where I’m majoring in Strategic Communications with a focus in Public Relations and a minor in Business.

It was always a no-brainer for me to go into the field of communications. I was drawn to this career path very early on as a people person with an eye for creativity. I knew I wanted to work in a fast-paced industry where every day was different. As I continued to develop my professional interests, I realized I love building relationships, marketing, event planning, writing, and social media – PR felt like the intersection of all of this! A career in communications was the perfect opportunity to utilize my passions to form meaningful relationships and help organizations best express themselves to the world.

In addition to my work at Curator, I am currently a Social Marketing Intern for the Carson College of Business at WSU. Last summer, I worked with Ste Michelle Wine Estates as a Digital Marketing Intern, and really enjoyed getting to dive into the wine industry. Prior to these opportunities, I was a brand representative for Bumble and Victoria’s Secret PINK, which gave me experience in marketing to my peers and carrying out on-campus brand activations. I also have served as the Public Relations Chairman for my sorority.

Outside of school and work, I like to spend my free time in nature by going on walks and runs, exploring our beautiful state, trying out new restaurants, thrift shopping, wine tasting, or planning my next trip. I am into all things pop culture, music, movies, fashion, and lifestyle!

After I graduate, I would love to spend some time abroad (Covid-willing), and then return to Seattle to pursue a career in communications in either an agency or corporate setting.

I look forward to getting to work with Curator’s variety of clients in so many different industries. I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to work with an agency that aligns with my personal values, and am excited to dive into the world of public relations alongside such a knowledgeable team!
