Situation

There’s a great big world out there and Delta wanted to showcase how their West Coast hub is positioned to help Seattlites explore it.

Delta Air Lines, the fastest-growing carrier at Sea-Tac Airport, asked Curator to help drive awareness of its non-stop flights, better schedules, and the amazing international destinations it serves out of its West Coast Hub.

Execution

Based on the idea that it’s 5 o’clock somewhere (17:00 in airline time), and capitalizing on Seattleites’ love for a good beer, Curator helped promote a two-night pop-up bar in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood.

The 17:00 Bar changed themes hourly each night, focusing on 14 amazing destinations where Delta flies out of Sea-Tac.

Our work driving TV and online coverage helped ensure lines around the block (literally) and when guests got in, they enjoyed beers and bites from Amsterdam, Paris, Beijing, Osaka, and more.

Visitors could win round-trip tickets to amazing destinations and all sales of beer went to support local charities.
